Original Illustrations
A surprising number of projects at Allen Creative start with pencil on paper. Briefings usually result in several pages of notes, doodles and brain-maps. Sketching and drawing are an integral part of the design process here.
Sometimes, for the right project, illustration is the perfect way to communicate the message. The use of original illustration is growing along with the trend for the hand-made, artisan style. Original art helps convey an authentic hand-crafted, aesthetic that stock imagery cannot. Creating eye-catching illustrations that engage the audience in a meaningful way is especially rewarding. So when the brief provides an opportunity, we drop the mouse, reach for the pencil and go free-hand!
